Rodríguez Uribes inaugurates ‘Francisco Brines, la certidumbre de la poesía’ (Francisco Brines, the Truth in poetry) on Friday, April 23 at the Luis González Robles Museum; a tribute to the Premio Cervantes.
The Managing Director of the Book and Reading Promotion in Spain, María José Gálvez, together with the Director of the Cervantes Institute, Luis García Montero, announced this morning at a press conference, the events that will take place during the Cervantes week, on the occasion of International Book Day 2021, which is celebrated Friday, April 23.
The events began early this morning with the placement of a multitude of banners with the commemrative poster of International Book Day 2021, in front of the main headquarters of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. As is traditional, the poster pays tribute to the figure of the Cervantes Prize from the previous year, which in 2020 was awarded to Francisco Brines. On this occasion, Sonia Pulido, 2020 National Illustration Prize winner, has been inspired by a verse by Brines, to create the poster, which is available in all the official and non-official languages ??of Spain, ??on the website of the Ministry of Culture and Sports .
