The number of ebook and audiobook loans then ranged between 800 and 1,200 daily (during the month of February 2020 it ranged between 190 and 260 daily loans). Now we have the global data and we see how monthly loans reached their highest peak during the month of April, with 27,704, compared to 2019 when they barely passed 5,000 (5,408), and their highest amount was in December with 7,328.

The number of new users also grew exponentially, of course, reaching the maximum in March, with 6,773, compared to March 2019, which barely exceeded 500. Regarding the Bilbao municipalities with the most loans, Bilbao with 21,417, Vitoria with 17,615 and San Sebastián with 17,606.
