This edition has been the one that has received the most nominations in the 26-year history of the awards.

This February 23, the lists of candidates for the 26th edition of the Audie Awards, the most important awards in the audio industry and awarded by the Audio Publishers Association, will be transmitted by streaming on March 22.  While there were 24 categories last year, this year's 25th include the reintroduction of the Audie in Spanish, last awarded in 2010.

The list of finalists for this year's Audie Awards has been drawn from some 1,500 initial entries, the highest number of entries submitted in one edition. Last year's finalists were chosen from 1,300 initial entries.
