The work, published by Astiberri, was influenced by the confinement. Specialized bookstores in Spain which form part of the Zona Cómic (Comic Zone) have chosen “La Cólera, (The Ire)” by Santiago García and Javier Olivares,

and published by Astiberri, as the best national comic of 2020. La Cólera has been chosen after obtaining the highest number of votes.  Other works that have also stood out are: “Regreso al Edén” (Return to Eden) by Paco Roca (Astiberri); “Primavera para Madrid” (Spring for Madrid) by Magius (Autsaider Cómic); “El Don” (The Gift) by Isaac Sánchez (Dolmen) and “Lezo. The last battle,” by Ángel Miranda (Guillermo Mogorrón Publisher).

The bookstores have declared: «the classic and the modern have merged to give us a timeless work that has become part of the collection of great national comics. A complete history from Santiago García that finds the perfect complement in the art of Javier Olivares in all its magnificence.»
