One of the most notable cases of this process has to do with the format, where digital books continue to gain ground. According to the latest data provided by Libranda, (the main company dedicated to the distribution of digital books in the Spanish language), sales increased by around 12.5% ??in 2019, if compared to the figures during the same period of the previous year.
Therefore, the market for this product exceeded 84 million Euros, confirming a trend that has been on the rise for some time. In addition, this study also shows that Spain continues to be one of the prominent countries in this new utilization model, corroborating that the passion for reading knows no boundries when it comes to format, but rather has to do directly with the cultural wealth of a country.
