For many people reading was a way to escape the boredom of confinement.  In fact, reading rates rose in our country by 4% during the first months of the year, according to the Spanish Federation of Publishers Guilds. More time at home also meant more time to read.  One of the positive things we benefited from last year and that opens great possibilities to this 2021, is that it will add many new titles for readers.  From national authors such as Manuel Jabois, Javier Castillo, Luis Landero and Kiko Amat, to international writers such as Joan Didion and Chanel Miller. 

Following is a list of some of the most outstanding new books that will be published in the coming months under such publishing labels as Anagrama, Tusquets, Blakie Books, Random House Literature and Asteroid Books.
