El Mundo - Cultura has selected the best novels written in Spanish during 2020; a year in which sales in the editorial industry decreased only 4% in comparison to the previous year.

The book industry has been the least affected in the cultural world by the crisis of the Corona Virus Pandemic, with a decrease of 4% sales and with many and very good new releases.  These are the best books written in Spanish during 2020, mostly fiction, selected by the Cultural Division of EL MUNDO and arranged in alphabetical order by the author’s last name.
