Madrid, Jan 17 (Prensa Latina) Former President of Government of Spain Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero will show his literary side once again in September with the publication of an essay book on Jorge Luis Borges, the Huso Editorial house, in charge of the project, announced.
Under the title 'I'm not going to betray Borges,' Rodriguez Zapatero retakes his link with the Argentinean short story writer, after the prologue to the text 'Ficciones,' 1944 (Fictions), presented in 2001 as part of a collection of the El Mundo newspaper, on the occasion of its inclusion in the list of the 100 best novels in Spanish language of the twentieth century.
On that occasion, Zapatero acknowledged having 'been mad [about the South American essayist]' when he was young. 'Everything is in Borges and he knows it.' 'Borges discovers in his work, or perhaps invents, another dimension of reality,' he pointed out.
