The city of Azul, Argentina becomes capital of all things Cervantes thanks to an Academic Conference in the midst of the pandemic.

Cervantes Days in Azul, Argentina, which began in 2007, have had to adapt to the new times of the pandemic.

This adverse circumstance has become an opportunity, since the online celebration of these XII Cervantes Conferences have been the key for the design of an extraordinary program in a face-to-face call: 21 Cervantes scholars from Spain and America will analyze the influence of Cervantes on various authors and works, and its survival in four Cervantes collections. Spain, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico and the United States will be present. All you have to do to attend online is register here.

Organized by the Cervantes Professorship of the Universidad Nacional del Centro (National Center University) in Argentina, the Spanish Association of Mutual Aid of Azul and the Civil Association Azul Ciudad Cervantina.  The Cervantes Conference has had the support of the Complutense University in Madrid and the University of Buenos Aires, the Embassy of Spain in Argentina, and the Cervantes Cities Network.
