On the occasion of Spain's participation as a Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2022, Acción Cultural Española created in 2019 these translation grants to promote Spanish literary works among foreign publishers.

The AC/E translation grants seek to encourage the sale of rights to foreign publishers and to publish Spanish literary creations, thus favoring their international visibility and recognition. The accepted languages ??for translations are German, English, French, Dutch and Italian.
There are two lines of grants:
1.  AC/E Grants for Translation and in Support of Illustration for foreign publishers.
