"An Intelligent and Trustworthy Person," by Cristóbal de Barros y Peralta, the first General Purveyor of the Recruitment House of the galleons of the Navy and Fleet of the Carrera de las Indias (The Route to the Indies).
The thirty-three new documents of invaluable biographical Cervantes, discovered by the historian José Cabello Núñez, from the Municipal Archive of La Puebla de Cazalla, about the Royal Commissioner of Supplies, Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, document for the first time the life of the hero of Lepanto in Osuna, Morón de la Frontera, La Puebla de Cazalla and Villamartín.
These documentary jewels, put into circulation in his excellent article: «New documents for the biography of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, a Royal Commissioner of Supplies in the ancient Kingdoms of Jaén and Seville, 1592-1593» (Anales Cervantinos, 2016, 13- 51), correct the errors of the Cervantes experts in the biography of the hero of Algiers and highlights that Cervantes worked for the galleons of the Armada and Fleet of the Carrera de las Indias (The Route to the Indies), under the command of Cristóbal de Barros y Peralta, considered the best builder of warships during the reign of King Felipe II (1527-1598).
