In the 1950s, during the restoration works of the Torre de Juan Abad hermitage, an alabaster stone was found engraved with enigmatic characters that, to date, no one has been able to decipher.
This encrypted stone is the center on which the trilogy "The temple in the Campo de Montiel" is based, a historical fiction where real events, places and situations are described and where only the characters are fictitious.
In addition to the historical rigor, the trilogy aims to make known towns and places in an area as isolated and unknown as the Campo de Montiel region in the southeast of the province of Ciudad Real; a land steeped in history and marked by the presence of such outstanding writers as Miguel de Cervantes, Francisco de Quevedo or Jorge Manrique and places as endearing as Villanueva de los Infantes, Torre de Juan Abad, Villahermosa and Villamanrique among others.
