The Madrid Book Fair has confirmed its celebration in the previously set dates; from October 2-18. As planned, the Management Commission of The Madrid Book Fair (publishers, bookstores and distributors) ....

has called an urgent meeting and made a final decision knowing it is imperative for this industry to come slowly and carefully back to regular activities in book fairs, bookstores and publishing.  As per their statement: “Putting the book industry back on track is more important than ever, though safely and responsibly.”

The Management Commission of the Madrid Book Fair has declared that the fair will follow strict security controls following the protocols established in the mannual Feria Segura (Safe Fair) and in the Guide of Preventive Measures FLM20.  The concern for the health of the show’s employees, delivery personnel, exhibitors and visitors will be guaranteed by the protocols which will be activated.  Further, if a cancellation was needed due to unforseen circumstances, the money invested by exhibitors will be refunded.
