CEDRO creates a 500,000 Euros fund for writers and publishers affected by the Coronavirus.

CEDRO’s Board of Directors have decided to strengthen assistance in order to help their profesional members continue their work.

CEDRO, representing almost 30,000 authors, translators, publishers, writers, and journalists has set up a fund for 500,000 Euros in order to support those members affected by COVID-19.  With this initiative, the entity strengthens their social work, which will allow them to give economic assistance to authors and publishers affected by the pandemic.

“These funds, which reinforce CEDRO’s commitment to aid its members, will be distributed to authors and publishers, allowing them to continue their work,” explains Daniel Fernández, President of the Association.
