Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial to Be Distributed by Penguin Random House in February

Beginning February 1, 2018, Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial (PRHGE) will be distributed in the U.S. by Penguin Random House (PRH), through its Westminster, Maryland facility. As a result, the company will leave Perseus Distribution / Two Rivers Distribution ........

(an Ingram Company), it was announced today by Silvia Matute, President, Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial USA, based in Miami. The titles from the newly acquired Ediciones B will join PRHGE, and will also be distributed by PRH effective February 1. Until that date, they will continue to be distributed by Spanish Publishers.

“Joining with Penguin Random House as our distribution strategic partner not only means that we are coming home as part of the family, but also that we will be more efficient in our supply chain, reaching more readers, faster.” said Silvia Matute.

PRHGE USA will maintain its offices in Miami, publishing local authors, managing sales and marketing efforts, and will continue to operate as a division of Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial, the world’s largest Spanish-language trade book publisher. With more than 700 new releases per year in the United States, PRHGE’s catalog includes a vast range of authors: from local bestselling authors like Doctor Juan Rivera, Ingrid Macher and César Lozano, to Nobel Prize winners such as Mario Vargas Llosa, Svetlana Alexiévich, Alice Munro, José Saramago, Orhan Pamuk, and Doris Lessing.
