For more than sixty years, Editorial Gredos has been dedicated to the publication of books especially related to lexicography, Hispanic philology and the Greco-Latin world.

Its extensive catalog is an essential reference for teachers, writers, researchers, students and readers in general. In 1996, the Ministry of Education and Culture of Spain awarded them the National Prize for the Best Cultural Editorial Work, as an express recognition of this long trajectory. It is almost unnecessary to present the GREDOS CLASSIC LIBRARY, the most comprehensive collection of Greco-Roman authors translated into a modern language.
