Synopsis

Manuela Beltrán, a woman haunted by a miserable childhood who tries to escape it through poetry and books; Tertuliano, an Argentinean preacher who claims to be the Pope’s son and who is prepared to go to extreme measures to create a harmonious society; Ferdinand Palacios, a Colombian priest with a dark paramilitary past; Rimbaud, the precocious, brilliant poet whose life was no more than a constant investigation; and Juana and the consul, who follow each other and need each other, united by a still-undefined emotion, star in this rich, polyphonic novel, a portrait of a hostile world in upheaval, in which the only possible respite seems to be searching, traveling, coming and going, incessant exploration.
