Synopsis
This novel follows Enrique Sabas, a screenwriter, and his wife Margaret, a graphic designer, who have two children and lead a comfortable life in New York. After 30 years of marriage and the attainment of a stability that had seemed impossible, the couple has spent the past three years battling her cancer, which has now entered its terminal phase. Margaret prepares to say good-bye to her friends and family with the help of Enrique, who during these strange and final days reconstructs the story of their marriage. This partially autobiographical novel courageously and honestly explores the universal themes of love, pain in the face of death, and the mystery of sharing one's life with someone else.
Esta novela sigue a Enrique Sabas, guionista de cine, y su mujer Margaret, diseñadora gráfica, quienes tienen dos hijos y llevan una vida acomodada en Nueva York.
