Synopsis
Portraying the discontinuity of the streets of Barcelona, of time, and, above all, of the existence of each one of its inhabitants, this noir novel turns the everyday into something epic. Five chapters contain five independent stories with characters that speak for themselves yet share the same tone, and the Gracia neighborhood serves as the main line that connects them. The plot revolves around a man named José García, who is killed by his own son, also named José García. The event is witnessed by a neighbor who bears the same name and is reminded of another murder he had seen years earlier in Italy.
Representando la discontinuidad de las calles de Barcelona, del tiempo y, sobre todo, de cada una de las existencias de sus habitantes, esta novela negra convierte lo cotidiano en algo épico. Cinco capítulos contienen cinco relatos independientes con personajes que hablan por sí mismos pero comparten un mismo tono, y el barrio de Gràcia sirve como una línea principal para conectarlos. La trama se centra en un hombre llamado José García quien es matado por su propio hijo, también llamado José García. El evento tiene como testigo a un vecino con el mismo nombre y quien recuerda otro asesinato que observó años antes en Italia.
