Synopsis

It all begins after the funeral of a father, when Erik Davidsen and his sister Inga find a disturbing note among the deceaseds papers. It is dated 1937, signed by Lisa, and seems to allude to a murder, something that must never be revealed. Erik is a psychoanalyst, and Inga is a writer. The siblings try to unravel the secrets of their father, to reconstruct the history of their family of Norwegian immigrants. But Inga and Erik must also face their own histories.
