Synopsis

The two men in this story were born in a sleepy village and reached the social peak of Buenos Aires by sheer charm and determination. Lovers of elegance, they turned their passion into a business that let them travel Europe buying chests full of clothes to sell to the new Argentinian bourgeoisie. This is also the story of the narrator and author, Lucía, who was raised in Spain by Argentinian parents.

She took a journey into the past to talk with these family friends and with other characters in an incredible story told in the style of new journalism.
