La tarea seguía su curso, pero un jueves de febrero de 2017 Évelyne murió cuando aún faltaban retoques al manuscrito. Page by page, and with the help of her editor Caroline Laurent, the mother and daughter story grew and took on fictional overtones. The task was still underway when in February 2017 Évelyne died with the book was still in need of final touches.
