In this brief novel, a pretentious monarch commands his subjects to locate the best horse in the world and train him for fighting. Although they do find him, it is not at all easy to make him fight in the battles against the enemy. An interesting reflection on the limits of greed and more specifically on the use of animals in conflicts between men.
