Two mothers, one human and other animal, misplace their babies due to cumulative exhaustion. Each one find the other’s baby and cares for it as if it were her own. From this anecdote, the author develops an ode to maternity. A beautiful story that endorses the love of one person for another, without distinction of races and cultures, and presents adoption and acceptance as affective options.
