I love Huidobro's character: the ferocity, optimism and impertinence of Non serviam. It is said that Huidobro entered Berlin with the Russians just to steal Hitler's telephone. Altazor is delectable and ingenious book, full of playful metaphors, almost like a toy train set or a city in miniature.
