In the novel Respiración artificial a group of friends discuss Argentine literature and writers. It’s a wonder for two reasons: on the one hand, it vindicates the coffeehouse model, rather than the academy, as the natural forum to discuss those subjects, and on the other, it criticizes officially consecrated high priests with great wisdom and humor.
