Interview with Teresa Espasa, an essential writer of Spanish literature.

In this interview Teresa Espasa tells us what she is currently reading and writing. She also answers questions such as, what qualities she admires most in a writer or a friend.

And, to conclude, she shares a poem from the latest anthology she has published, and an additioal unpublished text that demonstrates her great literary talent.

What reading material has impacted a summer of your life?

My reading material tends to be precise.  Every summer I pick the poetry of the classic authors which we should never forget in our summer readings.  Besides that, I love to review Kavafis, Paul Valeri… re-read Spanish poets such as Gil-Albert, César Simón, Alfonso López Gradolí with perhaps his Brigitte Bardot, etc.

For Teresa Espasa summer is a time for . . . .

Especially for reading and writing.  It is also the time for breathing in fresh morning air, walk on the beach, watch the horizon . . . .
