The National Library of Spain pays tribute to Carmen Bravo-Villasante with a book exhibition from March 21 to May 5

The memory Carmen Bravo-Villasante, philologist, translator, and a pioneer in the university research of children's literature, will be honored with an exhibition of her books from March 21 to May 5 at the National Library of Spain.

This exhibition will showcase the multifaceted works of Bravo-Villasante, which include folklore, narrative, poetry and biography. Bravo-Villasante won in 1875 the Fray Luis de León Prize thanks to the translation of ETA Hoffman’s The Devil’s Elixirs, as well as the Amade International Award for her lifelong labors, among other recognitions.
