New editors at Libros del Lince and Ara Llibres

The recent publishing imprint acquired by Malpaso, Libros del Lince, has a new editor. Mireia Lite (Barcelona, 1982) has been an editor of Catalan language imprints since 2015, at Ara Llibres and Amsterdam.

She is taking over Eduardo Hojman’s post and from now on will be in charge of bringing both the fiction and non-fiction lists to a wider audience.

Mireia Lite began her publishing career at Seix Barral, where she became an editor of Spanish fiction, and has also worked in the illustrated books field with the imprint Lunwerg Editores of Grupo Planeta.

Miquel Adam will be replacing the editor of the Ara Llibres imprints and will join the team led by Juan Carles Girbés. Miquel Adam, a veteran of Catalan publishing, has been working up until now with Edicions de 1984 as their press director and has worked for many different independent publishing companies throughout his career such as LaBreu and Laertes.
