“This new imprint will publish original Catalan-language texts as well as translations from Spanish and other languages. In April, Ediciones B –part of the Grupo Z publishing house– will launch an imprint for their Catalan-language titles: B.cat.
The launch is scheduled to coincide with the “Diada” of Sant Jordi, the Book Day. According to the publisher, this new imprint, which will join the children’s imprint, B de Block, the e-imprint, B de Book, and the pocketbook imprint, B de Bolsillo, will be ‘an umbrella under which we’ll publish fiction and non-fiction, varying genres, contemporary and trending writing’ by Catalan writers as well as in translation from Spanish and other languages.”
