Award-winning children’s author Matthew Gollub entertained the crowd with Kiki, a bilingual monkey puppet who speaks Spanish and English, during a book reading and presentation at the JFK Library on Saturday in Vallejo.

Adding a multicultural flair to the presentation was Gollub’s furry pal Kiki, who made a surprise appearance halfway through the show. Kiki is a shy monkey puppet who spoke mostly Spanish to the kids in the audience.
