The center, located in Columbus, offers three classes on Saturdays, for ages 4 to 12. Parents interviewed by The Republic agreed on the career and academic benefits of knowing a foreign language. New classes begin this fall.
“The Spanish Cultural Center reached out to the local Latino community to find qualified instructors who have worked as teachers,” says The Republic. “The local curriculum is being developed in cooperation with Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. and will include music, drama, arts, crafts and language immersion.” Read the complete story here.
