Thanks to a grant, school in Kansas will improve Spanish programs

Scott Dual-Language Magnet in Topeka, Kansas, will receive thousands of dollars for Spanish-language materials, including books for its library. The federal grant also will pay for a new coordinator for the bilingual program, a counselor specializing in behavioral issues, and a bilingual mathematics and reading specialist, The Topeka Capital Journal reports.
