Spanish publishing sector is well represented in the Guadalajara International Book Fair

More than 80 publishing companies, headed by Federación de Gremios de Editores de España (FGEE), are exhibiting in the 26th edition of the fair, that started this weekend and closes December 2nd.

The Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL) is one of the most important book fairs in America. In its 26th edition, is not only a meeting place for publishers, but also a cultural festival open to the public.

According to the study “Comercio Exterior del Libro 2011,” America is the second biggest book market for Spain, with Mexico, Argentina and Chile the countries where Spanish publishers sold more editorial products.
