July 23, Book Day. #Todo empieza en una libreria. (Everything starts in a bookstore).

The book industry comes together to celebrate a very special Book Day on July 23. This is the way to celebrate a day that had to be posponed because of the Coronavirus crisis.

Readers will have the opportunity to enjoy the many activities and save up to 10% discount on book purchases.  Follow the ad campaign at #TodoEmpiezaEnUnaLibrería which is developing on social media and is being followed by publishers, bookstore owners, communication and cultural professionals, and readers.

Taking advantage of the start of the summer vacations, this initiative was created to make up for the April 23rd Book Day Celebration which had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  During this workshop, readers will be able to enjoy multiple activities coordinated by bookstores and up to a 10% discount on book purchases.

La Ley de la Lectura (The Law of Reading), books and libraries establish a fixed price on books, except, of course, during the Book Day Celebration and Book Fairs, Conferences or Book Expositions, as long as “it has been determined by the organizing entities and they are associated with books, publishing or sales.” At this time the discount can be up to 10%.
