The Year to Face Reality: How Culture will change after the Coronavirus Pandemic.

How will the new Coronavirus Pandemic change the literary, theater, or series world? Publishers, narrators, essayists, and screenwriters reflect on how the Pandemic will affect their work.

Here’s the thing: After the first pandemic onslaught will we fixate our sights to a more intimate, smaller, closer reality? Or will we look for larger spaces to avoid anxiety, unrest, fear, the unknown, the threat?  What role would fantasy play? And memory?  Will science fiction work as it has until now?  What about the “me” síndrome? 

Each tragedy can inspire a novel.  Each trauma establishes (almost forces) a new literary approach in order to build a better narrative.  The global emergency of the last three months has upset social habits, the economy and political arenas.  We can feel something will be different and will affect us all.  For example:  reality, now more than ever, will not always be the truth.
