Antonio Serrano has been awarded the Premio de Biografías Antonio Domínguez Ortiz (Antonio Dominguez Biography Award) for his work, 'Italo Calvino: el escritor que quiso ser invisible’

(The writer who wanted to be invisible).  Jesus Albaran has been awarded the Premio Manuel Alvar de Estudios Humanisticos (Manuel Alvard Award for Humanities) for 'A Boy Walking: Bob Dylan and the Folk Revival of the seventies.'  Both awards will be given next Fall in Seville.

Both prizes are awarded by Fundacion Cajasol and Fundacion Jose Manuel Lara with 6,000 Euros each and will be published under the Fundacion Lara label.  These entities organize the contest in as an homage to these two personalities of the cultural and research world.  The jury members: Nativel Preciado, Jacobo Cortines, Ignacio F. Garmendia, Alberto González Troyano, Antonio Cáceres, Rafael Valencia and Joaquín Pérez-Azaústre convened and reached their verdict in the Fundacion Cajasol headquarters.
