In the coming days, users will have access to 507 new titles on “eBiblio,” of which novels are the most popular genre.

The Ministry of Culture has announced an extraordinary purchase of licenses for the borrowing of e-books from public libraries for the amount of 390,000 Euros.  In just two months, 69% of all books borrowed in 2020 have been through “eBiblo.” 

The new licenses will permit several users to borrow the same book at the same time.  In total, the Ministry of Culture has purchased a total of 60,000 licenses of new titles that can be borrowed free of charge.  In a matter of days, borrowers will have access to 507 new titles, of which 337 are for adults and 137 for young adults and children.
