The actual situation brought on by the Corona virus has radically changed the behavior of our society, since many business have been closed and only those absolutely necessary remain open. Also, many events that are attended my a great number of people like sport games and concerts, have been cancelled. April 23 was a special day for those who love literature and culture as it is Book Day. In this same line during the beginning of May we will celebrate one of the most important cultural events in our country, The Book Fair. This event, which lasts two weeks, has been postponed until mid October. Although this activity has been potponed, it is a fact that book sales have significally increased during the quarentine.
From Netrivals and thanks to the business model, Business Intelligence and Big Data, we have decided to créate a study listing the most popular publications of the last year. This information has been gathered thanks to our product monitoring tool, which analyzed in Amazon Spain over 18,500 books published between April 2019 and April 2020.
