The Book Chambers of Spain will maintain the Day of the Book but will delay the commercial celebration.

FEDECALI has reminded that the usual discount of 10% will depend on the organizing entities.

The Association of Book Chambers of Spain has decided to maintain, in a symbolic way, the celebration of the International Book Day on April 23, but to move its commercial celebration to a date yet to be determined, date in which it will be safe to do so.

Publishers, booksellers and distributors have agreed to this measure in view of the extraordinary situation caused by COVID-19 and by the declaration  of State of Alarm  - which could be maintained during the month of April - and which makes commercial celebration impossible, with the bookstores closed and the population in a confined situation.
