Publishers ask urgent help from the European Union

The Federación de Editores Europeos (Federation of European Publishers) have sent a letter to several European Institutions asking them to take measures in order to reduce the impact this crisis will have on the industry.

The European Publishers, through the Federation of European Publishers (FEP), have made a plea to several European Institutions to take measures to reduce the impact the pandemic crisis will have on the industry.  President of the FEP, Rudy Vanschoonbeek, has sent a letter to the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen,  to the Cultural Commissioner, Mariya Gabriel, the President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli, and the President of the Cultural Commission, Sabina Verheyen, as well as all the members of the commission, calling for an urgent help for the book industry.
