The writer, architect, and illustrator, José María Pérez—Peridis—won the 2020 Primavera de Novela award for “El corazón con que vivo” (The Heart With Which I Live), as announced by the jury this past Friday, which is a clear demonstration of its commitment to “the immense value of reconciliation”.

“This is a novel based on a family drama that represents the great tragedy entailed by the Civil War and is committed to the immense value of reconciliation”, said the jury chaired by Carme Riera and consisting of Antonio Soler, Gervasio Posadas, Fernando Rodríguez Lafuente, and Ana Rosa Semprún.
