Arturo Pérez-Reverte becomes the most-read author of 2019

He is followed by Juan Gómez-Jurado with “Reina Roja” (Red Queen) and Dolores Redondo with “La cara norte del corazón” (The North Side of the Heart).

Arturo Perez-Reverte has become the most-read author of 2019 thanks to his work, “Sidi”, which has positioned him to number one in the best seller list.  According to data from Nielsen’s Bookscan, Perez Reverte’s collection of articles written for XL Semanal, gathered in the title, Una historia de España (A History of Spain), has positioned him in fourth place.

Following the author from Murcia is Juan Gómez-Jurado with his novel “Reina Roja” and Dolores Redondo with “La cara norte del Corazon,” second and third on the list respectively.  A surprise title in the Nielsen list is the fifth-ranking book, “Como hacer que te pasen cosas buenas” (How to Make Good Things Happen to You), by Marián Rojas; a Self-Help title which endorses the literary trend of this genre.
