The Association of American Publishers responds to American Library Association about e-book lending issues

In a statement, AAP expresses its disappointed about ALA's open letter on e-book lending, Publishers Weekly reports.

“Publishers recognize libraries’ interest in serving their customers and we want books to have the widest distribution possible. The issues surrounding e-lending, however, are not as simple as [ALA president Maureen] Sullivan claims,” says the AAP's statement.
