Juan Gabriel Vasquez, William Ospina and Piedad Bonett are the award hopefuls. Canciones para el inciendo (Alfaguara, 2019) by Juan Gabriel Vásquez; Donde nadie me espere (Alfaguara, 2018) by Piedad Bonnett;

and Guayacanal (Random House Literature, 2019) by William Ospina are the three finalists of the Library Award for Colombian Narrative given by EAFIT, Caracol Televisión, and Grupo Familia.

Now in its sixth year, the awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, January 28th at 6:30 p.m., in the Fundadores Auditorium of EAFIT University, as part of the activities of the Hay Festival in Medellin.
