Spanish economist awarded with Espasa Prize

With his book “The Hopeful Economist: Urgent Steps for Exiting the Crisis”, Economist Leopoldo Abadia was awarded Spain’s Espasa Prize, reports Hispanically Speaking News.

“Abadia told Efe he was “very, very pleased” with this distinction,” reports Hispanically Speaking News “and 'hopeful' that Spain can find its way out of its economic woes.”

The jury selected Abadia’s book by unanimous vote. This prize, in its 24th edition, is accompanied by a cash award of 30,000 euros ($38,600). Read the complete story here.
