Anagrama launches special Compactos50 series for its 50th anniversary

The series is made up of 50 of its major titles featuring specially commissioned illustrations. Anagrama has turned 50 and is keeping up its birthday celebrations in the month of April with the launch of a special series in the Compactos collection .

The Compactos50 series, which will consist of 50 of its major titles, was chosen by the publishers along with booksellers. It covers, with specially-commissioned illustrations for the occasion and on the recommendations of booksellers and the publisher’s authors, 50 years of unmissable literature. The first five titles are already available in bookstores and are: “Los girasoles ciegos” (Blind Sunflowers) by Alberto Mendez; “84 Charing Cross Road” by Helen Hanff; “El loro de Flaubert” (Flaubert’s Parrot) by Julian Barnes; “Alta fidelidad” (High Fidelity) by Nick Hornby; and “Estupor y temblores” (Fear and Trembling) by Amelie Nothomb.
