Each spring, advocates for the higher education success of the nation’s youngest and largest ethnic population group gather in Washington, D.C., to shape and promote an agenda for Congress and the country at the annual HACU Capitol Forum.

2019 Call for Presentations for HACU Annual Conference
HACU is accepting proposals as part of the Call for Presentations for its 33rd Annual Conference, Oct. 5-7, 2019, at the Hilton Chicago, Illinois. Speaker proposals will be accepted until March 1, 2019. 

Ford College Community Challenge HSIs Grants available  
HACU and the Ford Motor Company Fund are accepting applications for the “Ford College Community Challenge” grant. Applications are open to students at HACU-member Hispanic-Serving Institutions. Seeking applications from students to collaborate with a non-profit on a proposal to help address a local need that will help make people’s lives better. Three proposals will be awarded a grant. Deadline to apply is March 1, 2019.

HACU is accepting scholarship applications from undergraduate students to attend HACU’s 33rd Annual Conference, Oct. 5-7, 2019, at the Hilton Chicago in Chicagi, IL

HACU appoints new senior vice president and chief operating officer. David A. Ortiz, Ph.D., was appointed as senior vice president and chief operating officer of HACU, effective January 1, 2019.
