“Read conmigo” gives away children books to families to promote bilingualism

The literacy program, sponsored by Infitity Insurance, provides parents with learning tools to improve the learning environment at home.

Los Angeles Hoy website published a piece on “Read conmigo,” the program that promotes reading and give free books to families. “We provided [families with] English and Spanish children's books every two months so they can have new reading materials the whole year,” says Laura Saenz, the program spokesperson to the news organization.
