EDAF publishes poet Miguel Hernández’s Complete Works in a luxury edition

Miguel Hernández is, without a doubt, the Spanish writer with the greatest popular impact.

According to Jesucristo Riquelme, who edited the Complete Works of the Orihuela native, “Hernández has turned the poetic word into ethics.” But Miguel Hernández was more than a great poet, he also wrote children’s stories, plays, and multiple newspaper articles. “The poet’s correspondence will not be included this time,” admitted the editor during the press conference organized for the book launch. On this the 75th year anniversary of the poet’s death, publishing house EDAF wanted to create a great tribute to Miguel Hernández with the publication of his Complete Works. “The most complete compilation to date of the Alicante-born poet’s works. The book includes more than 3,000 modifications and novelties compared to the previous text, which belongs to the 1992 edition made by publisher Espasa Calpe,” pointed out José Antonio Fossati, manager of publishing house EDAF.
